99Games Raises Funding From Dream Incubator & Others
Udupi-based gaming startup 99Games has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Japanese investment firm Dream Incubator, along with participation from existing investors Kalaari Capital and Ascent Capital.
99Games is a developer and publisher of games of international standards for global & Indian consumers. It has published over 18 game titles since launch in 2009 and has clocked in 44 Mn downloads globally till date. Few of its games include ‘Star Chef’ and India’s most downloaded game ‘Dhoom:3 The Game’.
Airmed Path Labs Raises $1.4 Mn
Ahmedabad-based healthcare lab aggregator, Airmed Path Labs has reportedly secured $1.4 Mn from Bennet, Coleman and Co. Ltd.’s (BCCL) investment handle, Brand Capital.
Launched in 2016 by Amit Gupta and Piyush Gupta, the startup outsources pathological tests to local pathology laboratories and also facilitates their back-end technology to improve production and capacity.
99PerHour Secures Seed Funding
Hyderabad-based on-demand hyperlocal services provider, 99PerHour raises $300K in Seed funding from US-based angel investor, V Aanand R.
Launched in 2014, 99PerHour delivers on-demand services at hourly rates from licensed and vetted vendors to homes, hotels, workplaces, and events in 30-minutes. Users pay at prefixed hourly rates starting from INR 99/hour. The company also boasts of 3000 vendors on its platform and currently offers 18 services in Hyderabad.
RML AgTech Raises $4 Mn From IvyCap Ventures
RML AgTech, a technology company providing ‘Agri Decision Support Solution’ on mobile phones to farmers, has raised $4 Mn from IvyCap Ventures, a private equity firm.
RML AgTech provides customized smart farming solutions to enhance crop productivity and earnings of the farmers. The company has developed app-based solutions for every stage of farming, starting from soil testing, what to grow, how to grow, where and when to sell for agriculturists. The services are easily accessible on smartphones in a personalized manner complemented with multiple languages and on-call service.
Wishberry Raises Angel Funding
Crowdfunding platform for creative artists, Wishberry raises undisclosed amount of Angel round funding led by Sharad Sharma (iSPIRT) along with Rajan Anandan of Google; Amit Ranjan of SlideShare; Alok Mittal of the Indian Angel Network; Venkat S. Raju of Kyron Global, and investors from LetsVenture.
