RegisterMyMarriage has raised seed capital from Mumbai Angels. Praveen Dubey also participated in the Pre-Seed Round in his individual capacity. RegisterMyMarriage aims to be the single ‘go-to’ portal for the registration process of all necessary yet problematic government documentation processes by taking them online for a major part of the process, resulting in scale and recurring revenue.
HyperTrack Raises $1.5 Mn
Pay-per-use software HyperTrack, which enables businesses to track their executives and products in real-time has raised $1.5 Mn in its latest funding round from Chamath Palihapitiya’s Social Capital and Vy Capital. A cluster of angel investors like Deepinder Goyal of Zomato and Hari Bhartia of Jubilant Foods, among others have also participated in this round. Also, Ashish Gupta, co-founder of Helion Venture Partners has joined the board of the company.
Capital Float Raises $2.5 Mn
Online lending platform Capital Float has raised about $2.5 Mn from IFMR Capital Finance and its alternative investment fund. The funding was secured by allotting non convertible debentures (NCDs). Started in 2013 by Gaurav Hinduja and Sashank Rishyasringa, Capital Float is a digital financing platform that provides quick and easy capital to help businesses fund rapid growth. It works with SMEs, ecommerce merchants, small manufacturers, and early-stage B2B service providers to provide flexible, short-term loans.

Micromax To Set Up Independent Fund For Consumer Internet Startups
Micromax is reportedly setting up an independent fund which will raise up to $100 Mn, aimed at investing in consumer Internet companies across the world that have relevance to the Indian market. The fund will look to invest in 10-12 startups with a ticket size of $3-5 Mn each.
Uber Launches uberHIRE
Uber is reportedly looking to strengthen its hold in India. While this service is not available anywhere in this world right now, Uber has started to pilot uberHIRE in a few cities of India. This new service from Uber will allow users to hire a cab for 12 hours within these cities for any purpose that requires more than an hour or so. Pune, Mumbai, Kochi, Vizag and Chennai have been picked up initially for starting the operations.
