Get My Parking has recently garnered $1.1 Mn in a Pre-Series A round of funding from Indian Angel Network (IAN), BEENEXT, The Chennai Angels (TCA) and Sunil Munjal (Hero Groups).
It is a cloud-based mobile technology app which solves the problem of parking in India, covering the whole of Delhi and NCR it also connects adjoining cities. They have plans on expanding their business unit even more smarter.
Founded in 2015 by Chirag Jain and Rasik Pansare alumni of IIT Madras & FMS Delhi respectively,the app came to process with the increasing need of chaotic parking systems which was leading to slow driving & growing flow of traffic. GMP saves time denoting management of real-time,advance reservation and assuring hassle-free service.
The mobile app has simple fundamentals, just search for required place for parking, book and navigate parking. This simple functions makes users view all legal parking lots with maps & location availability, pricing with cashless payments and precise navigation. IoT ( Internet of Things) features is a smart parking system digitalising parking space.
Apart from parking facilities ” It has city dashboard & enforcement app for government authorities, revenue analytics for contractors. APIs for mobility providers & hardware integration with OEMs”. It also provides solutions for Corporate, Residential as well as Event Parking. They were official parking partners for IPL, 2016, Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium of Delhi Daredevils and official technology parking providers at Kumbh Mela,2016.
Rasik Pansare, co-founder, CMO said ” Giving way to mobility planning, the fund will be invested in deploying our integrated smart parking platform. Pilots have been initiated in Jaipur & Mumbai in collaboration with local government authorities & several citywide contracts. We are poised for international growth by setting up country partners in six countries with enhanced products to fit the requirements of a global parking solution”.
In 2016 the company secured ₹2.5 crores funding from Chennai Angels and Sudhir Rai ( Indus Age Partners) is among its partners.
