Innov8 an Indian coworking space is a sector agnostic and has startups from every domain. Lately it has secured investments from angles round of funding,the amount is not disclosed yet and it was led by LetsVenture and Venture Catalysts.
Angle rounds of funding saw many participants from around the country. Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Paytm), Rajan Anandan (Google), Kunal Shah (Snapdeal), Girish Mathurabootham(Freshdesk), Punit Soni(Former CPO of Flipkart), Anand Chandra Sekavan (Facebook), Sunil Kalra (Via Projects), Vikram Limaye (IDFC Bank) were to be name some.
“Early stage startups in India struggle to find high quality,affordable office space. Innov8 solved this problem by providing this and also building a very strong community element in their spaces”,said Rajan Anandan managing director of Google India and one of the investors in the round.
Innov8 which is backed up by Guerrilla Infra Sol.Pvt.Ltd and its co-founders Ritesh Malik, Shailesh Gupta and Ravi Malik has its headquarter situated in New Delhi and its other three centers located in Delhi, Bengaluru and Chandigarh. Seven months ago Y-Combinator inducted three domestic startups into its summer batch, a three months accelerator program and by far the largest representation of Indian Startups. They selected Innov8 and other two startups, Justride( self-drive car rental app ) and Meesho (an app for seller on Facebook and WhatsApp ).
It has secured many investments lately. Last month it secured an undisclosed amount of Investments from Gurgaon based Instaoffice Business Sol.pvt.Ltd, Zishan Hayath Co-founder of Toppr and Mohit Satyanand director of DFM Foods and Chairman of Teamwork Arts etc. The company is cash positive in its unit in Delhi and Chandigarh where Bengaluru which was opened later than its latter has 60% occupancy. Innov8 is planning in expansion of more metro lines in Mumbai, Noida and Gurgaon. Hyderabad is also possibly seen as establishment of new unit centre and there is also some planning going on in expanding its working space for recruitment of new innovative people.
